FAQ
Questions, answered
Are these music tools really free?
Yes. Every tool on FreeMusicTools.app is free with no signup, no watermark and no usage limit.
Do you upload my audio files?
No. Every tool processes audio locally in your browser, so your files never leave your device. The MP3 to MIDI note detector is downloaded once and also runs on your device.
Which file formats are supported?
The effects open MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG and M4A files up to 100 MB and export MP3 or WAV. The MP3 Tag Editor works with MP3 files, and MP3 to MIDI exports a standard .mid file.
Can I use the results commercially?
We add no watermark and claim no rights over your files. Whether you can publish a remix depends on the rights to the original recording, so make sure you have permission for music you do not own.
